Iulia Goiană

Concert:

Iulia Goiană began studying the violin at the age of six under the guidance of Professor Elisabeta Tomescu Ciomu, continuing her musical education with professors Marius Lăcraru, Radu Popescu, and Magdalena Ursu.

She obtained a double degree, in violin (2016) and viola (2017), from the Faculty of Music and Theatre in Rostock, under the guidance of professors Liviu Câșleanu and, respectively, Felix Schwartz. She continued her master’s studies at the University of Arts in Berlin, where she graduated in 2019 from the viola class of Professor Yuta Nishiyama.

Since 2017, she has been a collaborator with the National Radio Orchestra, from 2019, a member of the Radio Chamber Orchestra, and since 2020, a member of the George Enescu Philharmonic, Bucharest.

Iulia has participated in numerous master classes, in Romania with Alexandru Tomescu, Ida Haendel, Clara Cernat, Liviu Câșleanu, and Cristian Andriș, in Germany with Felix Schwartz and Wilfred Strehle, and in England under the aegis of the English Camerata (Shrewsbury). She has been a scholarship recipient of the Ad Infinitum, Sergiu Celibidache, Sonoro, and Remember Enescu foundations.
