Agnes Guk is a trained professional ballet dancer and choreographer. She graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and the Bolshoi Theatre’s Institute of Dance Pedagogy in Moscow. She has received numerous awards at international ballet competitions in Rome, Budapest, and Vienna.
She participated in many international tours with The Crown of Russian Ballet. In 2009, she was engaged as a solo dancer at the Stadttheater Baden and took part in various art projects.
Her diverse stage experience spans classical Vaganova technique, Baroque and Rococo dance, as well as contemporary dance, which led her to perform at the Vienna State and Volksoper and, currently, at the Theater an der Wien.
Among her most acclaimed roles are Clara in The Nutcracker, Princess Florine in Sleeping Beauty, The Angel in the ballet Martin Luther, The Dancer in the opera Capriccio (directed by T. Gürbaca) and Sáffi in The Gypsy Baron.
