
Sofia Neacșu

Sofia Neacșu is 13 years old and has been a member of the Children’s Choir of the Romanian National Opera in Iași, as well as the Children’s Choir of the Municipality of Iași, since 2019.
Between 2019 and 2024, she studied light music and jazz singing with Professor Ira Sacenco, under whose guidance she participated in numerous competitions and festivals in Romania, winning various awards and trophies. One of her most remarkable achievements was at the **Star Vivere Music Revolution Festival** in Oradea in 2022, where she was awarded the **Grand Trophy**.
She is an emerging artist. Her participation in *Romania’s Got Talent* in 2023 marked the beginning of a long series of successes, showcasing her artistic qualities and earning her high praise from renowned musicians who recognized her outstanding performances as worthy of a career in the musical arts.
Sofia Neacșu is currently a **7th-grade student** at the *Octav Băncilă* National College of Arts in Iași, where she studies flute under the guidance of Professor Mihaela Popa. Their excellent collaboration was demonstrated in 2024 when Sofia won **First Prize** at the *Lira de Aur* competition in Suceava.
In recent years, Sofia has enjoyed great success, performing on the stages of the **Romanian National Opera in Iași** and the **National Athenaeum of Iași**. Under the direction of **Conductor Raluca Zaharia**, she has appeared both as a choir member and a soloist in productions such as *Tosca, La Bohème, The Sound of Music, Carmen, Cavalleria Rusticana, Pagliacci, Turandot, Carmina Burana*, and *The Stories of the Little Artist Elf*.
Since September 2024, Sofia Neacșu has been studying **classical singing** under the guidance of **Professor Diana Neacșu**.
