Soprano Alexandra Minerva Cârstea holds a Master’s degree from the National University of Music Bucharest, Faculty of Musical Performance. Her musical journey began with the study of piano, an instrument she pursued for twelve years before deciding to dedicate herself to the art of opera.

She made her debut on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum in the summer of 2022, in the presence of the Royal Family of Romania, celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Royal Choir, performing a fragment from the opera King Arthur by Henry Purcell.

Throughout the years she has taken part in masterclasses led by distinguished figures of the operatic world, including soprano Nelly Miricioiu, Liora Maurer (conductor and vocal coach at the Metropolitan Opera New York), Sharon Mohar(stage director and artistic director of Les Maîtres Sonneurs Opera Company), soprano Elena Moșuc, Mihaela Mingherașand Denis Dubois (pianist and vocal coach at the Paris National Opera).

Since 2023 she has been a member of the Experimental Studio in Musical Performing Arts “Ludovic Spiess” of the National Opera Bucharest.

She made her debut on the stage of the National Opera Bucharest in the role of Annina in La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi. She later performed the same role at the Brașov Opera in the production DescOperă Traviata, directed by Alexandru Nagy and conducted by Daniel Jinga.
