Alin Popa is a lighting designer and technical coordinator specialising in lighting design for theatre, cultural and corporate events, architectural lighting and art exhibitions. With over 15 years of experience, he has explored a broad spectrum of lighting applications, from theatrical environments, where he began his career in 2006, to permanent and temporary architectural lighting projects.

Alongside his design practice, he is actively engaged in the visual arts sector, developing lighting concepts for exhibitions and collaborating with directors, set designers, urban planners and architects on projects across several European countries. He shares his expertise through the course “The Invisible Art – Lighting Design Explained Creatively” and currently serves as Technical Director at Teatrul Grivița 53.
