Alina Petrovschi

Alina Petrovschi is a set and costume designer whose work has been presented within prestigious lyric institutions such as the National Opera Bucharest and the Comic Opera for Children. She has collaborated with internationally acclaimed directors and choreographers, including Andrei Șerban, Graham Vick, Renato Zanella, Mario de Carlo and Valentina Carasso, contributing to landmark opera, ballet and operetta productions.
Her recent projects include costume design for the musical “Matilda”, a UNITER Award-winning production in 2024, set design for the ballet “Swan Lake” (2023), and set and costume design for the musical “Erus and the Valley of Gratitude”(2023). She has also created scenography for film productions and concert performances alongside artists such as Mădălina Pavăl and Alina Eremia, as well as large-scale festival and event settings including Oktoberfest Brașov and Laminor Winter Wonderland.
Her work has been featured in national and international exhibitions, including the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space (2019) and exhibitions at Elite Art Gallery Bucharest.
Through her practice, Alina Petrovschi proposes a scenographic vision in which emotion and visual precision converge, continuously exploring the dialogue between performance and audience through new forms of expression and new spaces of encounter.
