David Daniel Dinu

Born in Bucharest in 1999, David Daniel Dinu is a Romanian oboist currently based in Copenhagen. His musical journey began at an early age and has steadily developed into a distinguished career within the classical music scene.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the National University of Music Bucharest, where he received rigorous artistic training and refined his instrumental technique. Seeking further artistic development, he pursued postgraduate studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, where he studies under Professor Max Artved, a highly respected oboist and pedagogue.
Throughout his studies and professional activity, David Daniel Dinu has performed with several leading orchestras, including Tivoli’s Promenade Orchestra, Danish Chamber Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra and Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. These collaborations have allowed him to demonstrate both technical precision and musical sensitivity, earning recognition within the classical music community.
He currently holds the position of oboist with Esbjerg Ensemble, Denmark’s most distinguished professional international chamber music group, renowned for its dynamic performances and commitment to both contemporary and classical repertoire. His involvement with the ensemble enables him to engage in a wide range of artistic projects, from intricate chamber works to innovative cross-disciplinary initiatives.
Despite his young age, David Daniel Dinu has already established himself through performances marked by expressive depth, technical clarity and a refined understanding of the oboe’s distinctive voice. As his career continues to evolve, his presence on both the Danish and international music scenes is set to grow further.
