Concert:
Maria Florea is a violinist with a strong international presence, performing in leading concert halls across Europe and China. As a soloist, her career highlights include appearances with Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC) at the opening concert of the 2020/2021 season at Auditori in Barcelona, as well as in the summer of 2024 at Torroella de Montgrí Festival.
She has also performed at Teatro Monumental in Madrid with RTVE, with GIO Symphonia and Camerata Penedès, at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest with Moldavian Chamber Orchestra, and at Palau de la Música Catalana with OSV, as well as with ADDA Simfònica in Alicante.
She studied at Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid, Royal Academy of Music in London, Mozarteum in Salzburg, and in Basel under the guidance of Zakhar Bron, György Pauk and Rainer Schmidt. She is currently a member of Trio da Vinci and The Rest Project.
