Silviu Apostol (Luda) is a visual artist and graduate of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, specialising in Photo-Video, at the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași.
With over 15 years of activity at the intersection of street art and new media installations, he is recognised nationally and internationally for his extensive artistic portfolio, which includes murals, mixed media installations, video mapping projects and architectural design interventions, created in collaboration with theatres, festivals and music events.
Winner of the Light Up Video Mapping Festival (2016, 2017), Silviu Apostol (Luda) has participated as a visual artist in numerous events, including Romanian Creative Week (2021, 2022, 2023), Sinestezia, the National Theatre Festival (FNT), the Brașov International Biennial of Visual Arts (2021), Classix Festival, Afterhills, Rocanotherworld, Tare ca Piatra, Cyclic, Senzoria, Vizorial, Dakini Tuzla and Pan-demon, among others.
He has also collaborated with institutions and organisations such as Poznan Dance Theatre (Poland), Palace of Culture Iași, Ateneul Național Iași, Teatrul Grivița 53 Bucharest, the National Museum of Art of Romania, Castel Mimi Chișinău, Bran Castle, Râșnov Fortress, Teatrul „Vasilache” Botoșani, Teatrul „Anton Pann” Râmnicu Vâlcea, Bacovia Municipal Theatre Bacău, Teatru Fix, Palas Mall, Iulius Mall and other cultural and independent venues.
