Tudor Nicorici is a multidisciplinary artist, with a Bachelor degree in theater directing (UBB Cluj-Napoca, 2021) and a Master degree in lighting and sound design (UNATC Bucharest, 2023). During and after completing his studies, he was part of the teams of several theatrical projects as a director, lighting or sound designer in state theaters or independent spaces in Bucharest, Iași, Galați and Piatra Neamț, some of them in collaboration with directors such as Radu Nica and Leta Popescu. In 2024 he started a doctoral research (at UBB Cluj-Napoca) regarding the necessity of creating and developing communities of spectators and creators and the impact that belonging to such a structure has on mental health.

Tudor is interested in collaborative practices through which artists come into dialogue and develop complementary dramaturgies. At the same time, he is aware that the stories we tell often also reflect a political discourse and that in tandem with the aesthetic dimension of a show, the creative team must also be aware of the implicit or explicit social message of their work.
