Born in 1995 in Iași, in a family of musicians, Petre – Florentin Gîscă began studying the violin at the age of 6 at the Octav Băncilă National College of Arts, under the guidance of teachers Natalia Epure and Lucian Reuț.
He graduated high school in 2014, having been awarded for his violin performance at various National Olympics, or National and International Competitions.
He graduated in 2022 the George Enescu National University of Arts in Iași, majoring in Conducting – Orchestra, under the guidance of Prof. Univ. Dr. Dumitru Goia, under whose guidance is now enrolled as a Master’s student.
He also graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Gr. T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2021.
In his artistic activity, he conducted the Botoșani State Philharmonic, the Oradea State Philharmonic, the Symphony Orchestra of UNAGE Iași and the Ionel Perlea Orchestra in Slobozia.
Currently, Petre Gîscă is considered in the academic sphere as one of the most promising young conductors of the Iași school of music.
