Răzvan Laurențiu Păun (România)

Răzvan Laurenţiu Păun (violin) began his violin studies at the age of 7 at the “Tudor Ciortea” High School of Music, Brașov, under the guidance of Professor Mireanu Maria. In the period 2004-2016, he won numerous prizes at national and international competitions, including: First Prize – National Music Interpretation Olympiad – Ploiești; First prize at the “W.A Mozart” competition – Târgoviște; First prize at the “Dan Cumpătă” Competition.

He performed several concerts as a soloist and violinist with the Brașov Philharmonic Orchestra, and participated in several international experience exchanges with the orchestra from Bilbao – Spain.

Over the years, he had the opportunity to work with famous names from the world of music, such as: Prof. Laura Modorcea, masters Florin Ionescu-Galați and Ilarion Ionescu-Galați, master Victor Rațiu and Mihail Craioveanu (USA); conductor Peter Stark (professor of conducting at the Royal College of Music London and conductor of the European Youth Orchestra); master conductors: Tiberiu Soare, Horia Andreescu, Ciprian Țuțu, Steffen Schlandt, Verona Maier Ladislau Csendes.

Currently, Răzvan Laurențiu Păun is a graduate of the National University of Music in Bucharest, and a master’s student at the same institution.
