Classix in Art 2026 Scholarships
The call for project proposals supporting young artists has been officially launched
The Creative Industries Association, organizer of the Classix Festival, has announced the launch of the fourth edition of the Classix in Art creative grant program, supported by its main partner, BRD Groupe Société Générale. The program strengthens the festival’s mission to support emerging artists by encouraging interdisciplinarity, artistic mobility, and the development of a new generation of creators.
The call was launched on November 19, 2025, and young creators working in Visual Arts, Music, or Performing Arts are invited to submit their projects by December 10, 2025, via the online form.

Culture is the way we think and feel, the way we live and influence each other, the art we create, the language we use, and the stories we carry forward within our communities. Through our platform “Culture Opens Doors,” we have been developing projects for years that bring classical music into the heart of communities, because we believe in its power to educate and inspire people.
The Classix Festival is an event of remarkable quality, with an ambitious yet beautiful mission: to bring classical music closer to young audiences, making it alive and relevant for future generations. The enthusiasm with which the people of Iași have embraced the festival proves that this mission succeeded from its very first edition. We are delighted to be part of this story and hope to write, together with the organizing team, many more chapters to come , said Flavia Popa, Secretary General, BRD – Groupe Société Générale.
Since its debut in 2021, Classix in Art has supported 18 artistic projects, providing resources, visibility, and space for experimentation. In 2026, the program returns with three grants worth €1,000 gross each, aimed at independent artists, students, and young creators aged 18 to 35, residing in Romania.
This year’s edition introduces the theme Art & Mind, inviting applicants to explore the relationship between art and the inner universe: emotion, memory, perception, imagination, presence, introspection, and transformation. The theme seeks projects that investigate how art shapes internal processes, influences emotional states, or becomes a space for reflection, connection, and meaning.
The works produced will be presented to the public during Classix Festival 2026 in March, within a curatorial context that fosters a creative dialogue between emerging artistic voices and the festival’s interdisciplinary, contemporary atmosphere.

Classix in Art was born from the desire to support and continuously encourage young artists. We believe in their potential and in the importance of providing them with real contexts where they can express themselves, be seen, and build a solid artistic trajectory.
Over past editions, we have had the joy of discovering valuable and diverse projects, which have confirmed just how much creative energy exists among young artists in Romania. This motivates us to continue and makes us even more eager to see the proposals submitted this year.
Classix has grown through the people who experience it: artists, audiences, and entire communities who return year after year with the same curiosity and openness. The Classix in Art grants are one of the ways we connect generations and contribute to the development of a vibrant, diverse, and relevant cultural landscape. – said Patricia Roxana Brohanschi, Co-founder and Director of Classix.
Publicul poate descoperi deja patru concerte care trasează direcția artistică a ediției: Rhapsody in Motion (3 martie, Casa de Cultură a Studenților), Love Frequencies (4 martie, Palatul Culturii), In Between (5 martie, Aula Bibliotecii Centrale Universitare „Mihai Eminescu”) și The Sound of Us (7 martie, Sala Unirii – Cinema Victoria).
Alongside the launch of the grants, Classix Festival has also announced the first concerts in the 2026 edition, which will take place from March 1 to 8 in Iași. These events represent only a part of the full festival program, with new projects and curatorial surprises set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The public can already discover four concerts that outline the artistic direction of this edition: Rhapsody in Motion (March 3, Casa de Cultură a Studenților), Love Frequencies (March 4, Palace of Culture), In Between (March 5, Aula of the “Mihai Eminescu” Central University Library), and The Sound of Us (March 7, Sala Unirii – Cinema Victoria).
