Classix in Focus :: Women in Music

The Classix in Focus series puts into perspective a number of aspects closely related *or not* to classical music in the contemporary context and in relation to a suite of constantly evolving paradigms.

Women in Music Romania is an initiative dedicated to promoting and supporting women in the Romanian music industry. The organization’s primary goal is to provide valuable opportunities and resources to women in all areas of the music industry, regardless of their experience level or professional position.

Women in Music Romania aims to create a more inclusive and fair environment for women in the Romanian music industry. Through events, mentoring programs and other initiatives, the organization provides a platform for women in the music industry to connect, learn and develop their professional skills.

With an increasingly strong presence in the Romanian music landscape, Women in Music Romania strives to promote gender equality and support women in the music industry to reach their full potential.

Women in Music Romania was launched in 2019, and the main ongoing project is the Women in Music Business Mentorship Program launched in 2021, currently in its third edition.

Entry to the event is free, and the discussion will be held in Romanian.

By participating in the event, participants give their consent to the use of photographic images and audio and video recordings for the purpose of promoting the festival’s activities.
