The dialogue “Black Coffee, White Pages” will take place on March 4, as part of Classix in Focus, and proposes a conversation about the pressure to create, the moments when inspiration is delayed, and the fragile space between the desire to make art and the fear of not being enough.

In the spirit of the Art & Mind theme of Classix Festival 2026, the dialogue brings to the forefront the relationship between the creative process and the inner mechanisms of the mind, personal, academic, or professional expectations, constant comparison, and the silences that inevitably appear along the artistic journey — not as obstacles to be avoided, but as a natural part of creation.

Together with the guests, we will explore the different ways artists relate to these moments: how creative block manifests, what triggers it, what prolongs it, and what may dissolve it. Above all, what it means to continue creating when there are no certainties, methods, or guarantees.

The dialogue will bring together:

The Classix in Focus series represents the festival’s space for interdisciplinary dialogue and networking, connecting artists, professionals from the cultural industries, and figures from the academic and creative environment. The program highlights topics relevant to the contemporary artistic scene and creates real contexts for collaboration between generations, disciplines, and cultures.

With a dynamic and accessible format, the series has so far included 26 panels, lectures, exhibitions, openings, film screenings, book launches, and various cultural interventions, consolidating its status as an essential component of the Classix DNA.
