A Composer at The Carnival
March 1st, 2025 - 11:00
Victoria Cinema Iași, Unirii Hall
In the role of composer Camille Saint-Saëns, Bob Rădulescu invites the audience on a tour of the creative workshop where his famous Carnival was born.
The short musical portraits of animals are filled with humorous puns of all kinds, hiding a touch of satire as well.
Which animal is the most elegant waltz dancer? The fossils, also invited to the carnival, are they dinosaur skeletons, or perhaps a completely different kind of fossils? Stepping out of the composer's shoes, Bob, the comedian of today's times, boldly proves that the humor from more than a century ago is more alive than ever.
