A Matter of Time

A Matter of Time is part of the Art & Mind theme of Classix Festival 2026, offering a reflection on music as a process of constructing and perceiving time. With this concert, the contemporary classical adventure of Classix reaches MINA Museum Iași for the first time, where the immersive setting enhances the relationship between sound, image and space.

The programme moves from pre-Classical and Romantic miniatures towards Oriental influences. The second part of the evening is dedicated to Maurice Ravel’s Piano Trio, a work inspired by Malaysian poetry and Indonesian pentatonic scales. It will be an evening in which time and movement are perceived differently, in dialogue with the multisensory experience of the space.
