An eclectic experience comprising Czech elegance and passion, alongside jazz virtuosity. Through the romanticism of Bohemia, we celebrate the year of Czech music. Then, we truly enter a bohemian world with American café music, in an evening full of exotic fusions! We’re inviting you to the first Classix concert in Bucharest, organised with the occasion of 2024 - The Year of Czech Music, with the Czech Center in Bucharest and the Czech Republic Embassy in Romania.

Trio Bohémo, originally from the Czech Republic, has gained notoriety at a rapid pace since its formation in 2019. Made up of violinist Matouš Pěruška, cellist Kristina Vocetková and pianist Jan Vojtek, the trio has debuted on numerous important stages such as Musikverein in Vienna , London’s Wigmore Hall or Manchester’s Stoller Hall, where he consolidated his status in the field of chamber music.
Their performances at renowned festivals such as Spring in Prague, Czech Republic, Schwarzwald Musikfestival in Freudenstadt, Germany and Festival van Vlaanderen in Ghent, Belgium have been noted internationally, and shortly after their formation, until 2022, Trio Bohémo was member of the European Academy of Chamber Music, studying under the guidance of acclaimed mentors such as Hatto Beyerle, Johannes Meissl, Patrick Jüdt and Avedis Kouyoumdjian.
