Commissioned by Classix, Heroin Chic will have its world premiere during the 2025 edition of "Revelations." The opera will present a compelling story about human fragility, interpersonal relationships, and the search for identity.
Composed by Solveig Sørbø, with a libretto by writer Maria Kjos Fonn, Heroin Chic will explore universal themes such as love, separation, and reconciliation.
Music and life will intertwine through the interpretation of the Classix Collective, offering an eclectic journey of soundscapes, featuring instruments like the cimbalom, synthesizer, harp, and vibraphone.
