La Bellezza will close the festival with a concert that celebrates beauty not as an abstract ideal, but as the result of thought and creative freedom, on a day when this dimension of expression acquires a special significance.

The programme will outline a musical journey built around formal balance, dialogue, and transformation, moving from early 20th-century classical repertoire towards a territory in which form becomes the framework for the freedom of jazz.

The first part of the evening will be rooted in the classical tradition, through works by Giuseppe Martucci, Ferruccio Busoni, and Ottorino Respighi, defined by formal rigour and clarity of expression. In the second part, the music of Johann Sebastian Bach will be approached as open material for improvisation, while compositions by Nikolai Kapustin and George Gershwin will mark the transition towards a space in which classical writing and jazz coexist naturally, in a balance between freedom and structure.

Concert programme

Giuseppe Martucci (1856–1909): Three Pieces for Cello and Piano, op. 69
