Daniel Dascălu is a Magister Artium of the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna at the class of Martin Hughes. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the National University of Music in Bucharest, under the guidance of Dana Borșan.

He is having a rich concert activity, having concerts as a soloist in Romania (Bucharest, Brașov, Bacău, Cluj, Constanța, Iași, Sibiu) and abroad (Austria, Germany, and Italy).

An avid chamber musician, Daniel has had numerous appearances at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, and as well in Austria, Sweden and Greece.

He participated in masterclasses with pianists such as Klaus Hellwig, Peter Donohoe, Andreas Frölich, Henri Sigfridsson, Roberto Plano, and is a laureate at several national and international competitions.
