Classic or Fantastic?

The Palace of Culture offers elegance at the neo-Gothic dimension and fascinating diversity in the hundreds of rooms that today host much of the city's history. This elegance can be observed from a new perspective within the Classix Festival right in the foyer, highlighting the border between classical and mythological elements. The protagonist of this journey was the Selini Quartet. Being registered as a residency ensemble of Vienna, the ensemble took us to a rather darker side of the Austrian land. The nocturnal detail could be observed both due to the spectacularity of the chosen programme and to the contemporary vision of what a stage for a string quartet means. By combining visual art in concept, the evening experience was felt in an eclectic way.
