Balș House, Eduard Caudella Hall
Str. Cuza Vodă no. 29, Iași

Scandinavian realms have always been a special inspiration to any creator. Whether we think of the fjords, Aurora Borealis, or Santa Claus, Scandinavia is an area that reminds us of the beauty and diversity of our planet. The Trondheim Soloists Quartet presented Norwegian opuses that transposed us into the world of the polar circle, at the place they call ‘home’. The common ground with Romania? Classix and the values we share - interdisciplinary work, passion for nature, people, and art, and a permanent search to improve international communication. The concert also included the first quartet of Edvard Grieg, the national composer of Norway. And speaking of beginnings, we decided that the ideal place is the hall that bears the name of the first violin teacher of George Enescu, the national composer of Romania. At the same time, in the hope of establishing new diplomatic partnerships through art, we were honored by the presence of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Romania.
