Andrei Chirilă

The violinist Andrei Chirilă was born in 1979 in Iași, a city where he completed both his studies and his professional career. He graduated from the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in 2003 in the Maria Toronciuc class.
From the same year, Andrei became a member of the orchestra of the “Moldova” Philharmonic in Iasi, and in 2008-2011 he held the position of party leader (violin I) in the orchestra “Philharmonie der Nationen” in Germany, with which he supported many concerts in the USA, China, South Africa, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Croatia, Turkey and Greece.
Andrei Chirilă also stood out as a soloist, performing with prestigious orchestras, having in parallel a rich artistic activity in chamber ensembles.
Currently, he holds the position of master concertist of the Iași Philharmonic.
