
Kristina Vocetková
Concert: Tango vs. Jazz
Kristina is currently a postgraduate student at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, in the class of prof. Onczay Csaba. She is a prize-winner of numerous competitions, such as Anton Rubinstein International Competition (Germany), Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition (Czech Republic), International Cello Competition Liezen (Austria), or Rudolf Matz Competition (Croatia).
In 2019, Kristina founded Trio Bohémo together with violinist Matouš Pěruška and pianist Jan Vojtek. Together they were awarded 2nd prize at the prestigious Gianni Bergamo Award in Lugano (Switzerland). Since 2020, they have been members of the European Chamber Music Academy, studying under the guidance of professors such as Hatto Beyerle, Dirk Mommertz, Johannes Meissl, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, and Patrick Jüdt. They performed at concert halls such as Nagyterem of Zeneakadémia (Budapest) or TivoliVredenburg (Utrecht).
In the 2020/2021 season, the trio will give their debut recital in Wigmore Hall and perform at festivals such as Gent Festival van Vlaanderen in Belgium, KlosterKonzerte St. Blasien concert series in Germany, or EuroArt Festival in Prague. At the same time, she is enrolled in a unique duo ensemble with accordionist Milan Řehák.
Other solo engagements for Kristina in the upcoming season include Brno Philharmonic and Jaroslav Kocian Chamber Orchestra.
