
Ștefan Diaconu
Classix in Art: Masterclass flute
Ștefan Diaconu, born in Iași in 1990, is solo flautist of Lebanon Philharmonic Orchestra.
He is often invited to collaborate with important orchestras and ensembles in Europe – the Copenhagen Philharmonic, the Danish Royal Opera, the Gorzow Philharmonic – Poland, the Romanian National Symphony Orchestra, the “George Enescu” Philharmonic in Bucharest. He graduated with his Master’s Degree in June 2017 from the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark, and is currently pursuing a solo programme at the Odense Conservatory of Music, as well as doctoral studies at the National University of Music in Bucharest.
He has a double degree from UNMB, where he studied Music Performance – Flute and Conducting – Orchestra. During his studies he had as instructors well-known flautists: Ion Bogdan Ștefănescu, Ulla Miilmann, Russell Itani, Anna Dina Schick, Bjørn Larsen, Rune Most.
In addition to his activities as an orchestra musician, Ștefan is involved in chamber music projects in Romania, Denmark and Lebanon, projects that he often organizes and coordinates, often using his own musical arrangements.
