
Tudor Bolnavu
Tudor Bogdan Bolnavu is a graduate of the George Enescu National University of Arts of Iași in the class of prof. univ. dr. Elena Ovănescu Pîrvu. He was awarded a scholarship at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon. In 2014 he obtained the title of doctor of music under the guidance of prof. univ. dr. Bujor Prelipcean and followed a pedagogical career at the violin department of the Iași conservatory, currently being a lecturer within the same institution.
With a rich instrumental repertoire and a vast programme of recitals and solo and chamber concerts held on important stages in the country or with the symphony orchestras of Botoșani, Craiova and Bacău Philharmonics, Tudor Bolnavu follows an instrumental path marked by meetings with personalities such as Șerban Lupu , Vladimir Nemțanu (prof. CNSMD Lyon) Kazimierz Olechowski (soloist and concertmaster of the Lyon Opera), Mihaela Costea (soloist and concertmaster of the Parma Philharmonic) or Alexandru Ianoș (conductor and violinist, Bern).
Since 2014, he has been the coordinator and concertmaster of the Sonos Alumni Chamber Orchestra of the George Enescu National University of Arts, a project of real success materialized through a series of concerts and invitations in prestigious national and international festivals.
