Classix in Focus :: The future of classical music

The Classix in Focus discussion series puts into perspective a number of issues closely related *or not* to classical music in the contemporary context and in relation to a suite of constantly evolving paradigms.

Together with the guests of this panel, we open a sensitive topic: the future of classical music.

How is classical music perceived today? Can it be profitable? What is the role of contemporary cultural institutions? How do we imagine its transformation in the coming years? These are the questions we aim to answer, from the perspectives of our guests’ experiences.

The quality of cultural hub that Classix wants also debuts in the Classix in Focus series, with a concert interlude between local and international artists.

Thus, Grace Jee Eun Oh (piano) and Andrei Pretorian (violin) will open the panel dedicated to the Future of Classical Music with the first part of the first sonata for piano and violin by Johannes Brahms.

Entrance to the event is free.
The discussion will be held in Romanian.
