Adela Liculescu, a Romanian pianist based in Vienna, is considered one of the most dynamic musical personalities of her generation, being internationally recognized for her skills as a soloist, chamber musician and artistic researcher. A graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Adela is now continuing her studies in a PhD program in Graz, focusing on the concept of virtuosity in the music of Franz Liszt. With her performances, Adela has captivated audiences around the world, from the Berliner Philharmonie to London’s Saint Martin-in-the-Fields, collaborating with prestigious orchestras and chamber ensembles. Adela’s awards include recognition at prestigious competitions such as the George Enescu International Competition in Bucharest and the Prix du Piano Bern, and among her honors is the Beethoven Prize awarded by the National Radio of Culture in Romania. As an official Bösendorfer artist, Adela Liculescu continues to inspire audiences with her talent and dedication to the art of piano.
