Dan Spînu

Dan Spînu is a Romanian composer and university professor with expertise in music and audio technology. From a compositional point of view, he has distinguished himself especially in the field of musical theater, creating three musicals, of which his last work, a rock opera, was awarded by the Union of Composers and Musicologists of Romania.

Spînu has a passion for combining traditional ensembles with modern rock bands and has experience in big-band arrangements. In the field of audio technology, he excels in sound engineering and music production, having extensive experience in recording various musical genres.

Currently, Dan Spînu is a PhD professor at the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași, where he teaches subjects related to pop/jazz music and audio technology.
