Anca Lupeș is one of the most experienced professionals in the Romanian music industry. One of her key strengths is that throughout her career she has worked across almost every sector of the industry: mass media (press, radio, TV), concert promotion, record labels, music publishing, artist management and booking.

She has extensive and diverse experience in music marketing, both as a Marketing Director for a record label (7 years at Nova Music Entertainment) and as an artist manager and festival and concert promoter, working with both Romanian and international artists.

In 2009, she became the first Romanian professional to earn a Master in Music Business from Berklee College of Music(Boston, USA).

In 2016, she founded Romania’s first music industry conference, Mastering The Music Business, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025.

She is currently Partner and CEO of Star Management (a 360° services company for artists and the music industry, founded in 2004), Board Member of Star Education (an NGO dedicated to supporting Romanian music professionals), President of RAW Music (the NGO organising Mastering The Music Business and MMB Showcase Festival, as well as Romania’s music export office and member of the European organisation EMEE), and Executive Director of INDIERO(the association of independent Romanian record labels and music publishers, affiliated with the international bodies IMPALA and WIN).
