Bogdan Ștefan Trîmbaciu is Director of the Project Management Unit within the Ministry of Culture of Romania and promoter of the Posada Rock Festival in Romania.

He has over 20 years of consistent experience at national and European level in cultural heritage policy, as well as in financing mechanisms dedicated to the preservation, restoration and promotion of cultural heritage and investments in the cultural sector.

Recognising the need to protect and preserve Romania’s vast cultural heritage and to make effective use of available external funding for cultural investments, Mr Trîmbaciu has used his vision and managerial expertise to develop the Project Management Unit into a leading entity implementing a wide range of projects and programmes.

With the support of numerous experts and professionals coordinated by him, close to one billion euros have been invested in the restoration of historic monuments, the promotion of cultural heritage, cultural education, cultural entrepreneurship and other strategic initiatives.

He also serves as Head of the Creative Europe Desk and of the national contact point for the New European Bauhaus in Romania, being actively involved in most of the cultural funding schemes available at national and European level.
