Emil Munteanu is a MERITO teacher of Romanian language and literature at Colegiul Național Iași and has been coordinating for 18 years the cultural project and magazine Alecart. Through this initiative, young people engage with literature and the arts by participating in meetings with writers, artists and cultural figures, learning to become passionate readers and spectators and to think independently. In 2025, the magazine Alecart received the Cum Laude Award from Observator Cultural.
