Izabela Vieriu is a composer, member of UCMR – The Union of Composers and Musicologists of Romania – and Assistant Lecturer at the “George Enescu” National University of Arts Iași. She holds a PhD in Music, with a doctoral thesis in film music composition completed at the same institution.

Her artistic and pedagogical activity spans a wide spectrum, from classical composition and film music to electronic music and projects with a therapeutic dimension.

As conductor and coordinator of the ensemble TimbrIS, she continuously develops performative and educational projects.

Through her artistic approach, she promotes an integrative musical vision in which education, performance, and innovation sustain one another.
